Properly analyzing the performance of your email marketing campaign is one of the most important ways to influence its success. In a previous post about interpreting campaign analytics data I suggested that the “open rate” metric does not tell you much about the engagement level of your audience. “Click-through rate” (CTR) however, can give you a much better picture of how interested your subscribers are in the content of your email. Understanding the implications of this metric will allow you to improve your campaign over time.
